Assistant House Manager: Brockton, MA.
WORK Inc., one of New England’s most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities is seeking an exceptional person who is committed to work that makes life better for others. Currently, we are seeking an Assistant House Manager who will support 5 individuals served in their own home by promoting independence, while empowering and enhancing their qualities of life.
General Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assisting in the development of maximum independence, responsibility and self-worth.
- Integration of quality life ideals into daily management and program development.
- Preparation and implementation of program goals, individuals’ service plans, progress reports and treatment plans.
- Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
- Providing for appropriate healthcare, medical and dental needs and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
- Providing a climate for motivation and creating a supportive working relationship.
- Preparing and maintaining case records and program reports.
Supervisory Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supervising and assigning duties to direct care staff when house manager is unavailable.
- Carrying the emergency cellphone and attending to program emergencies when house manager is unavailable.
- Attending administrative and clinical team meetings in the absence of house manager.
- Training and orientation of new employees to the program.
- Addressing and resolving conflicts as they occur.
- Other administrative duties as assigned by the house manager.
This is a $23.00/hour position. The ideal candidate will work 20 hours direct care shifts and 20 hours flexible managerial administrative duties each week.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- High School diploma and computer skills.
- Related college degree and experience.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities a plus.
