What You Will Do: As A Structure CAD Design Technician, you will

• Prepare, develop, and revise bridge and structural design drawings under the supervision of a registered engineer,
• Performs drafting tasks efficiently and accurately both independently and as part of a team.
• Interprets and ensures conformance to applicable CAD standards and codes
• Collaborate with engineering technicians, engineers in training, and other professional staff,
• Perform basic calculations for quantities and dimensions,
• Prepare CAD directive to young technicians and engineers
  
  

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have:

• 5 Years Experience as a CAD Technician in Bridge Engineering is required.
• 1 Years Experience using Bently Open Road Designer is required
• The ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of design software packages, specifically Bentley products (Microstation, Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Designer, Geopak). Additional experience with AutoDesk products such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn from others will allow you to excel in this position.
• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school is preferred but not required.
