WSB is a comprehensive engineering services company with offices in Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, North Dakota, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and California. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for our Oklahoma City or Golden Valley Offices. We are looking for trusted professionals who value honesty, integrity, respect, a strong work ethic, and superior client service. The candidate we are looking for needs to have 3 to 7 years of experience in general accounting, preferably with an engineering company. The position is expected to work on site.

What You Will Do:

- Prepare and review general ledger (GL) journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze GL account activity and provide detailed reporting
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring internal control procedures
- Support financial audits, including US GAAP and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance
- Serve as dual authority for electronic payment processing
- Post and monitor customer deposits and vendor electronic payments
- Review and verify employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial initiatives as needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
