SUMMARY The Training Manager develops, implements and monitors training programs within the facility. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and monitor training programs within the facility. Consult with management to assess training needs. Collaborate with floor leads and supervisors on the ongoing evaluation and appraisal process for production team members. Continually evaluate training effectiveness and update curriculum as needed. Manage the documentation and tracking, with feedback and input from floor leads and supervisors, of the registration and progress of all production team members in the Department Mastery Program (DMP), for cross-functional versatility of the production team. Conduct orientation sessions. Develop brochures, training materials, multimedia visual aids and presentations. Utilize classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops to implement training methods. Provide individual performance feedback to Facility Management. Conduct continuing education training and provide leadership development education. Build solid cross-functional relationships. Train, coach and evaluate production personnel. Manage performance and support professional development Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, and evaluation. Assist with the development of strategic training plans. Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE Experience in various construction aspects Any combination of relevant education and/or experience demonstrating proficiency in the essential functions of the role. 3 years training experience in a manufacturing environment Eligible to work in the United States KNOWLEDGE | SKILLS | COMPETENCIES Proven ability to complete full cycle training Proficient in MS Office Strong communication skills WORK ENVIRONMENT Work will be conducted in an office environment with a controlled climate, involving standard office equipment and tasks, and requires a professional demeanor and effective communication with colleagues. Work will be conducted in a manufacturing plant with a controlled environment, involving exposure to machinery, construction, and production processes, as well as varying weather conditions, noise, and dust. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests will be provided and must be worn on the production floor and construction site. Regular, full-time predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer, including repetitive hand and wrist movements. Proficiency in handling office equipment and moving around the office. Good visual acuity for reading screens and documents. Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push or pull loads of up to 50 pounds; physical fitness and stamina are essential. Strong balance, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. Ability to meet visual and auditory acuity requirements. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
