Description
The Beverly YMCA is seeking an experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team and lead children and youth as we build upon an already excellent program. Opportunities are available for High Level, Low Level, and Excel coaches. Coaches must be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and compassionate, with a passion for leading and assisting others to meet gymnast's goals.
Essential Functions:
- Teach youth and teen recreational classes to promote team participation
- Inspire the youths in our community by serving as their greatest role models
- Watch the hard work pay off when gymnasts succeed in practices and competitions
- Build long-lasting, genuine relationships with Y staff and families
- Help teens build essential life skills

Qualifications
- Previous experience coaching Xcel Bronze through Platinum and/or JO Levels 1-6 preferred - willing to train the right candidate
- 18 yr old's plus
- Experience working in a competition setting
- General knowledge of Xcel or JO Compulsory Code of Points
- SafeSport Certified (or completed within 15 days of hire)
- Pay range depends on experience
- Consistent weekend availability for Gymnastic meets with transportation
