Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and mechatronic equipment. This role supports production uptime and continuous improvement in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

Shift: 2nd Shift (5:00 PM – 3:30 AM, flexible to support production needs)
Pay: $24.00 – $33.00/hour DOE ( $1.00/hour shift differential)
Schedule: Must be open to overtime and occasional 12-hour shifts

- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems on machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
- Familiar with blueprints, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLCs & PCs.
- Must have current knowledge of electrical codes and electricity and able to apply it to the job.
- 3 years of maintenance experience in an automotive, high volume manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Solid, stable work history with proven reliability and consistent performance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience maintaining production machinery.
- Experience with:
- Mechanical systems: bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, alignment, mechanical assemblies
- Electrical systems: AC/DC motors, basic electrical circuits, wiring, sensors
- Hydraulics and pneumatics: troubleshooting cylinders, valves, pumps, pressure systems
- Drives: AC/DC drives, VFD troubleshooting
- Sensors: photo eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting across multiple disciplines (mechanical/electrical).
- Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and strong safety culture.
- Able to lift 35–40 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable working on their feet for long periods.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work during 2nd shift with minimal oversight.
