Must have:
- The Airport Custodian maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout airport facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
- Cleans office areas, stairways, jet ways, commercial aircraft and elevators.
- Wash walls and mirrors and use ladders when required in work assignments.
- Secure building when facilities not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants
- Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
- Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
- Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
- Wash accessible interior and exterior windows and blinds.
- Assist with inventory control
- Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment.
