Paralegal Duties:
- Draft and file legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and subpoenas.
- Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
- Monitor deadlines and court schedules using calendaring software.
Legal Secretary Duties:
- Prepare correspondence and format legal documents.
- Schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Maintain attorney calendars and ensure timely filings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, filing, and document management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation as a paralegal and/or legal secretary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Strong understanding of California civil procedure and court filing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with trial preparation and attendance.
- Familiarity with e-filing systems (state and federal).

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in civil litigation as a paralegal or legal secretary.
