Role Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator with extensive experience in managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) freight projects across air and ocean modalities. The role demands end-to-end project management precision, cross-functional coordination, and strong operational control to support complex supply chains and ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate air and ocean freight shipments for high-value EPC projects, ensuring timely and compliant delivery against tight schedules.
- Manage multi-stakeholder communications, including vendors, carriers, project managers, and customs brokers.
- Oversee export/import documentation, customs compliance, and regulatory adherence specific to EPC project requirements.
- Track project shipments actively, resolving logistical and operational challenges swiftly to avoid delays.
- Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align freight movements with project milestones and budgets.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project status reports, KPIs, and freight cost tracking.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, risk mitigation, and cost control.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years managing air and ocean freight logistics within EPC or heavy industry projects.
- Strong knowledge of export/import compliance, customs regulations, and freight forwarding systems (CargoWise preferred).
- Proven experience coordinating complex, multi-modal freight for large-scale projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and operational efficiency.
