This is a critical position within a global freight forwarding network focused on maximizing air freight yield and client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end air export operations ensuring full compliance with IATA regulations and export documentation standards.
- Serve as a dedicated liaison for global key accounts, driving operational accuracy and enhancing account profitability.
- Optimize air freight rate utilization aligned with contract terms to maximize margin and transit efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to identify growth opportunities within strategic accounts.
- Maintain shipment tracking, reporting, and CRM data integrity using CargoWise or similar systems.
- Resolve operational disruptions swiftly, maintaining transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior coordinators to uphold team standards and operational consistency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years air export coordination experience in a global forwarding environment.
- Proven track record supporting and growing global key accounts.
- Deep knowledge of air freight compliance, IATA, and customs export requirements.
- Strong commercial acumen in freight rate application and negotiation.
- Proficient in CargoWise or equivalent freight management platforms.
- Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
