Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tender management for EPC freight projects across air, ocean, and trucking modes.
- Analyze tender requests, develop competitive pricing strategies, and prepare comprehensive bid submissions aligned with client requirements and internal commercial targets.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure feasibility and profitability of tender proposals.
- Manage relationships with carriers and vendors to secure optimal rate structures and service commitments.
- Maintain tender pipelines, monitor market trends, and provide strategic insights to enhance win rates.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts post-tender award to safeguard margin and compliance.
- Implement and maintain tender management best practices and tools to optimize process efficiency.
- Provide regular reporting on tender status, outcomes, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years managing tender processes in EPC freight forwarding or related project logistics sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven success in multi-modal freight tender pricing and negotiation.
- In-depth understanding of EPC project supply chains and logistics requirements.
- Proficiency with freight management and tender platforms (CargoWise or similar).
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
