Administrative Assistant
Charleston Area (Onsite)
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience (up to $28/hr or salary equivalent)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking a seasoned Administrative Assistant who genuinely enjoys administrative work and thrives in a fast-paced, professional office environment. This role supports busy leadership and requires someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and confident handling shifting priorities throughout the day. This is a hands-on administrative position ideal for someone who takes pride in being the operational backbone of an office.
This position is 100% onsite in the Charleston area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to executives and leadership, ensuring daily operations run smoothly
- Create, format, and manage professional documents and proposals using Microsoft Word, including manipulating templates
- Track data, pricing, and reports using Excel
- Manage email correspondence, follow-ups, and professional communication
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and serve as a professional point of contact
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments while adjusting priorities as needed
- Work across multiple systems, databases, and screens simultaneously
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and empathy
Qualifications
- 5 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to pivot quickly as priorities change
- Polished verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and anticipate needs
- Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals, including executives and high-profile stakeholders
- Professional demeanor and appearance at all times
