Summary:
Aquatech is a global leader in water purification systems technology for both industrial and infrastructure markets located in the United States and internationally. We support our clients with sustainable water purification systems and technologies that are solving the worlds water scarcity challenges.
Currently, Aquatech has an immediate need for a fulltime Administrative Assistant to work in our Canonsburg, PA office. The hours are Monday Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The Administrative Assistant will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a Non Exempt employee.
The ideal candidate performs primarily administrative functions involving compiling, scanning and bookmarking, opening/sending daily mail, copying, scanning, filing, answering telephone, typing, creating/editing documents, and other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.
Job Description:
- General administrative duties for Project Department involving opening/sending daily mail, copying, filing, and answering telephone, typing, creating/editing documents and spreadsheets and power point slides.
- Attention to detail. Comparing set of documents and identifying discrepancies.
- Multi-task administrative duties.
- Follow Projects personnel instructions as per set guidelines related to work within the department.
- Document Submittals: upload and download documents to our Clients Web share program.
- Distribute documents to Aquatechs Document Control Department.
- Log Customer submissions and returns into an excel spreadsheet.
- Preparation/distribution of correspondence (i.e., e-mails, and courier packages).
- Keep travel log and travel schedules for Project Department personnel.
- Handle communications effectively for managers when out of office.
- Prepare for in-house and external customers meetings.
- Provide relief to front desk receptionist as needed.
- Perform computer applications using MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Perform other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree (preferred), High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR One(1) years experience related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skill Requirements:
- Experience working for an engineering company. (Preferred, not required)
- Expert in the use of Microsoft Office; particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with presentations and report writing.
- Technical experience
- Ability to treat items confidentially as and when appropriate.
- Work as part of a team
