Job Title: LPN Part Time CREATE Rehab
Job Summary:
Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for immediate hire for our residential drug treatment program. LPN'S who are interested in pursuing a career in the behavioral health and addiction field are encouraged to consider available positions with Argus Community, Inc. Our OASAS - licensed residential treatment program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting initial health and ongoing clinical assessments.
- Overseeing administration of medications and monitoring adherence.
- Coordinating medical treatment and follow up with community medical providers.
- Working closely with consulting psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner.
- Insuring seamless procurement of prescription medication from partnering pharmacies.
- Maintaining records as per state and agency regulations.
- Providing training for program staff.
- Meeting with directors and program staff to insure continuity of care.
- Providing emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
- Related duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications/Criteria:
NYS LPN license; experience in working with mentally ill chemically dependent adults; basic computer literacy; CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR; ability to work under stress; ability to communicate effectively with residents and health care professionals; flexibility and physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
Salary : $35 - $42
