Join our client's team in beautiful Ponte Vedra, Florida! Their team values integrity, collaboration, and attention to detail. They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage their financial records and support their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
- Prepare and process payroll promptly.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Handle invoices, and payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
