Clinic LPN-Community Medical Clinic

The Avera Medical Group Marshall is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality professional care to patients and families under the supervision of a provider in your scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general nursing care to patients, including administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards
• Coordinate patient care activities for the clinic, preparing equipment and assisting providers during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing within your scope of license
• Screen patients for relevant information, take vitals, and conduct patient evaluations
• Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, assist doctors as directed, and review lab, hospital, and other reports, posting them in charts as necessary
• Maintain exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials, prepare lists of medical supplies needed, and complete patient care interventions, including assisting with lab draws and test procedures, starting peripheral IVs, chest and extremity x-rays, and EKGs

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited school or program
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing; active license in the state of practice upon hire
• Breath, Alcohol, and Drug Collection Certification - Licensing Board (if providing services in Occupational Medicine within 180 days)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of clinic nursing services experience

Salary : $52,330 - $74,500
