Clinic LPN

Work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team at our Community Medical Clinic, where we prioritize patient care and compassion. As a licensed practical nurse (LPN), you will have the opportunity to positively impact each patient you serve by providing direct resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality professional care to patients and families under the supervision of the provider in their scope of practice.
• Perform general nursing care to patients, including administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Coordinate patient care activities for the clinic, preparing equipment and assisting providers during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing.
• Screen patients for appropriate information, taking vitals, conducting patient evaluations, and responding to incoming telephone calls.
• Review lab, hospital, and other reports, posting them in charts as necessary, and maintaining exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials.
• Complete patient care interventions, including assisting with lab draws, test procedures, peripheral IVs, chest and extremity x-rays, and EKGs.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited school or program.
• Breath, Alcohol, and Drug Collection Certification - Licensing Board if providing services in Occupational Medicine within 180 days.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice upon hire.
• Preferred education, license/certification, or work experience: 1-3 years clinic nursing services.
