Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Avera Medical Group Marshall, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality professional care to patients and families under the supervision of a provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs general nursing care to patients, including administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Coordinates patient care activities for the clinic and prepares equipment and assists providers during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients within scope of license.
- Observes, records, and reports patient reactions to drugs and treatments to providers, dispenses medications as directed, and greets patients and prepares them for physical examination.
- Screens patients for appropriate information, takes vitals, and conducts patient evaluations, responds to and refers incoming telephone calls, and instructs patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
Work Schedule:
The work schedule for this position is flexible and may include:
- Day shift, Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; 64 hours/2 week.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited school or program.
- Breath, Alcohol, and Drug Collection Certification - Licensing Board if providing services in Occupational Medicine within 180 Days.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years Clinic nursing services.
