Our Automotive Solutions Group is seeking a Technology Implementation Manager. The Technology Implementation Manager will work directly with our customers to gather and define project requirements, including assessment of data capabilities, definition of Web site functionality and content, reporting needs and processing details, and then manage project scope through development.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the scope of the project throughout the definition and development period.
- Working with our Web User Experience team to complete the user interface design process and gaining approval from our customers.
- Documenting the project's requirements.
- Partnering with an Application Manager, when appropriate, to turnover tasks to the development team.
- Managing the development timeline through implementation.
- Managing the budget for the development of the project.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing of client websites.
- Managing all program and website set up and conduct client website walk-through prior to final implementation.
- Proactively recommend new solutions or ideas to the customer which will enhance their project and increase project revenue.
- Complete system documentation and turn over the project to the Customer Technology Manager after implementation.
Requirements:
- 5 years' business and project management experience.
- BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, MIS or related technical field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of relational database and web site development process.
- Managing scope of technical project, while maintaining budget.
- Strong communicator, both verbally and written.
- Leading a large team through the development phase of a technical solution.
- Experience writing technical requirements for development team and customer documents.
- Experience presenting to customers and running meetings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- SQL proficiency desirable.
