Salary: $18 to 20 an hour DOE (40 hours a week)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Match Support Specialist will support our volunteers, children, and their parents/guardians to ensure a safe and supportive mentoring relationship that meets the goals of each child. They will assist in creation and facilitation of events and trainings for the matches, volunteers and families.
A typical day as a Match Support Specialist includes telephone conversations, email correspondence, communicating and coaching volunteers and parent/guardians in support of the one-to-one mentoring relationship.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, connector, and be organized. The candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, have experience working with a diverse population, have demonstrated success in prioritizing and meeting deadlines, and be self-initiated.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- *Bilingual- Spanish/English Required*
- Education Level: High School diploma or GED; prefered relevant Bachelor’s Degree- preferably in human services, social work, or related field.
- Years of Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of comprehensive experience in case management and/or human services.
- Other: The candidate selected for this position must successfully pass a background check and be able to work evenings and weekend hours as needed.
