Graphic Designer
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is looking to fill a position for a creative, independent individual to work as a department graphic designer. Experience in graphic design required. Work created will be highly visible and will target students, alumni, donors, and external contacts. This position offers time flexibility and a wide variety of project opportunities. Current staff has designed wraps for a truck trailer, large visuals for labs, visuals for display cases, illustrations for professional journals, videos for department promotion, and much more.
What you'll do in this position:
- Designing internal department communications, including (but not limited to) brochures and posters
- Assisting faculty with graphics for classes and publications
- Working with our Social Media/News writer staff member on special projects
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design
