Full Stack Software Engineer
Hybrid: Dearborn, MI (onsite 2x/wk.)
Full-Time Contract-to-Hire (W2)
$72,000-75,000 (D.O.E.)
A global leader in mobility solutions is seeking Software Engineers to join the teams responsible for creating and maintaining web applications that provide deep insights from manufacturing data in order to make higher-quality products for customers. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop data-driven web application features and a responsive UI, including backend microservices and UI features.
- Participate in pair programming and code review sessions to drive continuous improvements and a deeper understanding of application functionality.
- Follow Test Driven Development principles, write and execute unit test cases, and reduce bugs and errors.
- Collaborate with other development teams, as well as product stakeholders, to ensure requirements are being met.
Required skills and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar relevant technical degree.
- 1 year of object-oriented programming experience, preferably using Java or C .
- Frontend development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one library (Angular or React preferred).
- Significant knowledge, or working experience, developing, integrating, and testing RESTful APIs.
