TITLE: Senior Recruiter
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Recruiter will report to the System Director, Talent Acquisition and is responsible for the coordination of daily recruitment operations and workflow monitoring such as recruitment strategies, systems, and processes that result in the attraction and selection of the best talent for the organization. Senior Recruiter is responsible for providing ongoing guidance, education, and training to ensure standardization, consistency, and improve recruitment, selection, candidate management and hiring efficiencies. Coordinates recruitment activities for assigned areas of service including advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, testing, referring qualified candidates to hiring managers and providing compensation recommendations to help preserve internal equity.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years hospital recruitment experience in recruitment, HR generalist or strong HR-related experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience with behavioral-based interviewing
- Professional presentation skills and ability to speak knowledgeably about positions and openings.
- Excellent writing communication skills.
- Demonstrate skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Preferred: Certifications: SHRM, CHCR, CDR, CIR, CSSR, PRC
1. Consult with business leaders on talent related strategies and initiatives; consult with hiring managers throughout the course of a search to influence decisions regarding strategy, profile development, assessment methods and final selection
2. 4. Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top talent
5. Develop, maintain, and communicate a broad understanding of the external healthcare market and how it may influence IDS recruitment strategies
6. Assist in the development of position descriptions
7. Partner with hospital leaders, and HR team members to develop, extend and negotiate employment offers
8. Provide a superior experience to all stakeholders throughout the recruiting and onboarding process
9. Develop, generate, and distribute recruitment related reporting; provide analysis on data to enable department leaders to make sound decisions regarding recruitment strategies
10. Ensure compliance with HR recruitment policies, processes, and practices; maintain current knowledge of federal, state and local employment practices and labor laws
11. Builds and maintains relationships with hiring managers to develop a thorough understanding of their department’s culture
12. Creates relationships with candidates to facilitate process to manage them through the recruiting and selection process while providing complete, accurate, and engaging information to candidates about PIH Health and positions.
13. Identified as a subject-matter expert by staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques as well as creating new ones to be competitive in State-of-the-Art recruiting practices.
14. Develop and maintain a network of contacts, online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to help identify and source qualified candidates.
15. Strong customer service and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to hiring managers
16. Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
17. Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
