What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children's Tumbling Instructor - Brier Creek Community Center position at City of Raleigh North Carolina?
Brier Creek Community Center is looking for an enthusiastic individual to instruct beginner tumbling classes to children ages 2-6 years in a fun, inviting way. Instructors will need to create and utilize lesson plans that teach children tumbling and facilitate various fun activities associated with tumbling. You should be able to adapt/revise program activities to meet the needs of program participants.
- Teach the foundations of balance and basic motor skills.
- Communicate and work well with children, teaching youth the basics of tumbling.
- Available to class participants/parents after class for follow-up on instruction in class.
- Set-up tumbling room to be consistent with lesson plans
- Evaluate each tumbling class upon completion to determine action necessary to improve upon each program
- Communicate effectively with personnel to ensure quality programming and participants' experiences
- Instructor’s payrate will vary and paid per student.
Salary : $10 - $40
