Clinch Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ICU and CCU teams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care via the nursing process for assigned patients.
They will meet standards of care and practice, perform ethically and professionally, and assist in managing staff and collaborating with ancillary departments.
Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient/family/significant other educational needs, implementing and evaluating knowledge gained through educational efforts.
The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for adults, geriatrics, and occasional adolescents.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current registration in the State of Virginia, and three years of previous clinically related hospital nursing experience.
A Baccalaureate Degree is preferred, and the ability to make decisions and intervene on complex problems while rendering patient care is essential.
