The RN-Skilled PRN will assess, plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients throughout the scheduled shift.

• This includes identifying actual and potential needs/problems through nursing assessment and developing an organized and prioritized plan of care.
• The RN-Skilled PRN will supervise and make patient care assignments and other unit duties to other members of the nursing team.
• They will recognize and respond to emergency situations and life-threatening situations appropriately.
• The RN-Skilled PRN will document assessment, plan of care, interventions, and educational needs of each patient, as well as documenting the patient/family response to interventions.

Requirements:

• A current Virginia license at time of hire date.
• No previous clinically related nursing experience required, but Charge Nurse experience is preferred.
