Job Title: Senior Flexographic Print Operator

Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed)

Job Summary

The Senior Flexographic Print Operator is responsible for the operation and monitoring of multiple machines, including Mark Andy and Gallus printing presses, slitting equipment, blister machines, and label applicators. The operator ensures production quality, quantity, and safety requirements are met while maintaining equipment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.]

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor printing presses and other machines, including the label applicator, Mactec blister machine, and R160 Gallus.
• Perform setup, testing, and assembly of products to meet production requirements.
• Inspect products for defects, mark non-conforming material, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform material transactions in ERP systems for raw, in-process, and finished goods.
• Manage and maintain inventory of operating supplies, including screens, plates, and other pre-press materials.
• Support training for new hires and participate in research and development trials for new product and process development.
• Maintain work area organization and documentation per ISO and GMP standards.
• Uphold company safety policies and foster a team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in equipment operation or a similar manufacturing role.

Preferred Requirements:

• Familiarity with light equipment operation (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
• Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and quality systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP software.

Key Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety protocols, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and unit conversion (Imperial to Metric).
• Capability to lift and manipulate heavy objects safely.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written in English).
