Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive land surveys using GPS, total stations, and other advanced surveying equipment to collect accurate spatial data.
- Prepare detailed survey drawings, maps, and schematics using Civil 3D and Carlson software.
- Manage data collection and execution for ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
- Collaborate closely with civil engineers, architects, and project teams to develop accurate construction plans and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct field inspections to support construction staking, progress verification, data validation, and quality assurance.
- Prepare clear, detailed survey reports documenting methodologies, coordinate systems, findings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with safety standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support during both field and office operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) (active certification required).
- Proven experience in land surveying, including project oversight and field operations.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D; strong experience with CAD drafting tools is essential.
- Solid working knowledge of trigonometry, algebra, geometry, and survey-related mathematics.
- Hands-on experience operating GPS equipment, total stations, and related surveying instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
