This candidate will assume responsibility for providing effective support for all phases of mortgage loan processing activities within the financial institution. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining coordination and communication within the lending department, with members, attorneys, and others to successfully underwrite and process loans.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ability and willingness to meet with and work with members to take applications for processing.
• Coordinate all aspects of the origination and underwriting of mortgage and home equity loans up to and including the preparation of closing packages.
• Input applications into various mortgage application software programs.
• Review applications, order appraisals & title searches, review credit reports, and complete initial disclosures.
• Manage all aspects of document collection and filing on lending portals in relation to compliance and audit requirements.
Job Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred and two to four years’ residential loan-related experience with a mortgage servicing company, bank, or credit union. Excellent communication, computer, and customer service skills a must. Must be willing to meet with members during the origination and underwriting process. Experience using Encompass
