Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform audit engagements from planning to completion for clients in the public accounting industry
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and address any issues or concerns
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Identify and communicate any audit findings or recommendations to management and clients
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and best practices
- Assist in the development and implementation of new audit policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and GAAS
- Experience with Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) audits a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
