Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical/Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of solutions to meet customer needs within the industrial steam industry. Additionally, this role will require the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis to determine customer requirements
- Create and review CAD drawings in accordance with engineering and customer specifications
- Prepare technical documents and presentations for customers and vendors
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure product meets customer specifications
- Review and approval of design and process changes
- Provide technical training and support to customers
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in engineering or related field
- Knowledge of and experience in ASME, BPVC, UL, NEC, and NBIC standards
- Familiarity with industrial steam industry, boilers, and boiler components
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
