Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and report on project status to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, both on-site and off-site.
- Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and time sheets.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction, working collaboratively with other project stakeholders to find solutions.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure they meet project requirements and timelines.
- Train and supervise construction workers and subcontractors to ensure they are following best practices and company policies.
- At least 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent on ground up construction projects.
- Experience in concrete, steel, and wood construction.
- Experience with Procore and Bluebeam construction software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Experience working on GSFIC projects is a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with project stakeholders.
