Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify potential tax-saving strategies.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Maintain and organize client tax files and documentation in QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and answer tax-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience in tax accounting and preparation
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- 80k - 110k salary range
- Health/vision/dental
- Annual performance bonuses
- 401k matching after one year at 3%
- Company wide commission for new business

- 4 weeks PTO
- 40 hour work week -- no "busy" season
