Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and reporting processes for multiple entities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns
- Develop strategies for effective tax planning and compliance
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team regarding tax matters
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary
- Train and mentor junior staff in tax compliance and reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proficient in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in managing a team is a plus
