Job Description Summary
The Grant Accounting Assistant will support the Grant Manager and primary investigators with managing financial risks and will be responsible for capturing, summarizing, and reporting financial results. Financial risks includes compliance with grant specific financial requirements and College policy .
This position will also assist with establishing and maintaining credible business relationships with internal and external partners. This includes collaborating and supporting the primary investigators with understanding and delivering on grant and college financial requirements.

- Serves as a resource for principal investigators and the College’s leadership ensuring that they have the information needed to effectively manage sponsored programs and contracts while adhering to generally accepted accounting principles including Governmental Accounting Standards Board, College policy, and Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Guidance.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting.
Three (3) years general accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Access, and Outlook.
