What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTC/ALF Administrator position at Dolan Memory Care Homes?
Dolan Memory Care Homes is an ALF Enhanced Facility caring for residents who have Alzheimer's Disease or related dementias. Residents age in place while receiving person-centered care in a true social model of care in small, group homes. This position would oversee the daily operations of 4 homes and 44 beds. The Administrator would be responsible for the overall management of the community by planning, developing, directing, monitoring and supporting all operational, administrative, clinical, human resources, customer service and fiscal activities for the community's programs and services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures the quality and appropriateness of resident/patient care meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to the budget and intervenes as needed.
- Retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations, and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
- Makes sure facility is a safe, clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for residents, patients, visitors and staff in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensures all required records are maintained and submitted, as appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulation.
- Supervises staff of 4 House Manager/Nurses overseeing approximately 12 staff per home.
- Manages and participates in all aspects of state or federal government survey processes.
- Responsible for grievance process from residents, patients, employees, etc.
- Functions as primary officer for facility according to MIPAA guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates will possess:
- Current MO state NHA Licensure
- Vaild RN license (preferred)
- Dementia or Behavioral Health Experience
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer
- Ability to work successfully with diverse staff and resident populations
- Ability to develop and promote a positive work environment
- Able to be on-call up to 24 hours if needed and for emergencies
