East River Contracting is seeking a motivated and experienced Concrete Site Supervisor to oversee our projects in the Midwest! As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our concrete construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all onsite activities, including scheduling, planning, and implementation of concrete construction projects.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and lead a team of concrete workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Monitor and report progress to project managers, keeping them informed of any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite, implementing best practices for safety and quality control.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other vendors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in concrete construction
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of workers effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Spanish/English Bilingual is a bonus
