Loan Clerk
Summary:
The Loan Clerk performs various duties to support the bank’s commercial/mortgage loan processing department.
Essential Functions
- Process paid-off loans and collateral release requests

Verify loan documents in the imaging system
- Maintain loan files with required documents
- Renew UCCs
- Process flood determination report
- Prepare credit card disclosures
- Process denied and withdrawn loans for consumer and mortgage department
- Assist with insurance tracking follow-up
- Scan loan documents and perform scanning QC
- Assist with various projects: moving documents to the new imaging system, moving tracking items to new core
- Assist Mortgage Processors and Closers with file preparation
- Request payoffs and insurance documents
- HMDA File Reviews
- Assist with loan customer phone calls
Qualifications/Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 years of customer service experience
- Banking experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone
- Creativity and resourcefulness
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks
