Network Engineer
Financial Additions is assisting a reputable client in Fort Worth with a Network Engineer position. The ideal candidate brings a background in CISCO IOS, is extremely detail oriented and has excellent job stability and tenure.
This position is in office, and travels 15-20%. Must live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
What you will do:
- Configures, installs, monitors and maintains network hardware, including routers, firewalls and switches.
- Designs and architects Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure solutions, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
- Monitors network performance, analyzes data and optimizes the network
- Maintains up to date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot fiber and network cabling
- Identify and resolve networking issues
What qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
- 5 years experience managing and supporting Cisco technology
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, NC-OS, and Meraki operating systems, as well as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols and VPN technologies
- CCNP certification preferred
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
