Job Overview: The Accounts Receivable Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing all change of ownerships, charging resident accounts per association guidelines, and posting, reconciling and depositing association checks. Assist Title Company Liaison in processing disclosure documents using automated platform, as needed. Your Responsibilities:- Recording settlement of new unit owners per recorded deeds • Recording daily receipt of settlements on accounts receivable master list • Recording and posting daily receipt of all checks and payment files from third parties • Researching and processing customer claims of invoice payments • Researching and processing charge backs, returns, bad checks and/or unallocated cash • Handling miscellaneous payments and processing correctly in the accounting system per manager and/or accountant directives • Verifying accounts by reconciling transactions; investigating and resolving discrepancies • Communicating with title companies concerning settlements • Supporting Title Company Liaison • Performing other tasks and special projects as needed
- Education/Training:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year accredited university preferred. Two (2) years of AP and/or AR experience strongly preferred. Experience in Property Management industry a plus. Experience/Knowledge:
This position requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload and a sense of urgency are a must. Strong math skills and professional communication skills required. Individual must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidate must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
