Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our partner facility's healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients and residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Working in an interdisciplinary environment, you will assist with daily activities, and clinical tasks, and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Provide physical support for patients with personal hygiene and exercise routines.
- Reposition bedridden patients to prevent discomfort or complications.
- Clinical Support:
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Monitor and document changes in patient behavior or health conditions.
- Assist nurses with administering medications and treatments as directed.
- Environment Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Ensure patient rooms are sanitized and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Communication:
- Report significant observations or changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Previous experience in acute care or long-term care settings is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of a 2-step TB test within the last 12 months.
- Physical exam clearance within the last year.
- Criminal background check.
- Proof of vaccinations (as required).
Shift Details:
- AM Shifts: Available on March 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 24, 29, 30.
- PM Shifts: Available on March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 17, 22.
