Current Frost employees must apply using the Careers application in Workday (not through this site) Job Description As a Commercial Review Appraiser with Frost, you will be responsible for reviewing and ordering commercial appraisal reports on commercial or special use properties within the requirements of federal and state banking regulations, and professional appraisal standards. Responsibilities will include determining the type of appraisal and reporting that is required based on Title XI FIERRA appraisal regulations and the degree of credit risk; ordering original and updated appraisals from fee appraisers; monitoring status or orders; communicating with fee appraisers and account officers to solve any order problems; reporting commercial appraisal assignments with Appraisal or Restricted report formats with written documentation in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), other federal regulatory requirements, and Frost Bank policy; and completing verbal and written communication with bank officers and fee appraisers pertaining to appraisal report corrections, completion status, and general appraisal information. The candidate will review commercial appraisal reports by independent fee appraisers and report findings and conclusions in written format in accordance with the USPAP adopted by the Appraisal Foundation. Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience Texas General Real Estate Appraisal Certification 3 years of field appraisal experience Preferred: MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute 2 years working in a financial institution environment
