As a Repair Technician, you will provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory, continually building and increasing business through great customer experience and quality work.
A successful Repair Technician will demonstrate:
- Customer Focus: Provide an excellent customer experience, understanding customer service principles and being approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
- Initiative: Identify opportunities & issues and follow through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them, learn quickly, and take positive action without being requested to do so.
- Selling: Work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
- Training: Effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so that they are retained.
Responsibilities include:
- Interacting with customers to ensure a positive customer experience
- Servicing customer-owned instruments with high craftsmanship
- Maintaining store-owned gear as requested
- Completing warranty repair work
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Skilled understanding of repairing guitars
- Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products (preferred)
Salary : $31,253 - $62,354
