tradesperson who works with concrete by placing, finishing, protecting

and repairing concrete in engineering and construction projects.

Concrete finishers are often responsible for setting the concrete forms,

ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch. Gunter Construction

Company expects the highest level of precision and quality from the

Concrete Finisher to ensure client satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities

Ability to set string line to grade for setting concrete forms.\

Pour and finish concrete to the project specifications\

Read blueprints to determine the scope of work: layout work, calculate

quantities.\

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company

policies and procedures\

Setting forms to grade while conforming to ADA requirements\

Properly use and care for power tools / hand tools for specific tasks\

Skills

Excellent attention to detail\

Strong communication skills\

Read blueprints\

Form setting\

Read tape measure and level\

Time management\

Ability to set string line to grade for setting concrete forms\

Strong mathematical skills\

Requirements

OSHA 10 Card\

Reliable transportation\

Pass background check and drug screening\

Bi-lingual a plus\

Ability to work full time\

Ability to wear all required PPE
