Gunter Construction Company is seeking a highly organized, fast-moving,
and detail-focused Construction Administrative Assistant to support our
construction management team. This is a vital role for someone who
thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and takes
initiative to keep projects and people on track.
The ideal candidate is helpful by nature, quick to respond, and takes
pride in producing accurate, timely work. Construction industry
experience is a strong plus.
**Key Responsibilities**
Provide responsive and dependable administrative support to Project
Managers and Superintendents\
Prepare, track, and maintain project documentation: contracts, permits,
submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and more\
Follow up with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely
communication and document flow\
Assist with job site compliance records (safety forms, certifications,
insurance, etc.)\
Manage phones, route calls, maintain correspondence, and organize filing
systems\
Prepare project closeout documents and progress reports\
Order and track office and job site supplies as needed\
Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure
meeting spaces are ready\
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or
training in business or construction administration preferred\
2 years of administrative experience (construction industry experience
strongly preferred)\
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience
with project management software a plus\
Excellent written and verbal communication skills\
Strong multitasking and time management abilities\
Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a
fast-paced setting\
