What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Hansell Tierney?
We are seeking a contract Accountant to assist our client during their financial reporting season.
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Hybrid; Onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs
Length of Assignment: 3 months

Responsibilities:
- Assist with SEC and internal financial reporting, including preparation of 10-K and 10-Q documents
- Support the Investor Relations Team in preparing Earnings materials
- Assist with financial closing activities, such as preparing journal entries
- Work with your peers to identify and implement process improvements
- Analyze complex financial statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and present working papers and accurate support documentation to leaders
- Support audit requirements including internal, external and compliance audits
Qualifications:
- You have a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of public accounting experience, preferably with SEC client exposure, or 2-4 years of business accounting experience, preferably with financial reporting and SAP exposure.
Compensation Range: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour depending on experience
