Cargill is seeking a Senior Consultant to bridge the gap between their cybersecurity operations and the broader cyber landscape, engaging with industry leaders, law enforcement, and government agencies to drive intelligence-sharing and protect global business interests. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker adept at fostering collaboration and leading critical communications during cybersecurity events.
The Role
• Cultivate and maintain vital relationships with law enforcement, government bodies, and industry groups to enhance cyber defense posture.
• Establish and manage effective information sharing pathways with internal teams, government, and industry partners to optimize threat intelligence.
• Lead external communications for incident response scenarios involving Cargill's business partners and third parties.
• Provide crucial support in both internal and external communications and public relations during significant cybersecurity events.
• Drive collaboration with cybersecurity peers, data privacy experts, and external specialists to ensure efficient and effective threat detection and response operations.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of 6 years, ideally 10 years, of relevant work experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, or external engagement.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, and industry groups.
• Demonstrated experience in information sharing and intelligence pathways within a complex organizational or inter-organizational setting.
• Strong background in leading external communications during cybersecurity incidents and crises.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across diverse internal and external teams.
