Full-time positions available, working with adults who are experiencing a mental illness or substance use disorder. Responsibilities include: assessments, counseling, treatment planning, case management, outpatient therapy, client-centered consultation, and working with case managers to ensure appropriate services are provided to their clientele.
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in counseling and guidance, social work, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, or family therapy, the ability to obtain certification or licensure within 2 years, as well as education/experience to be able to function as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional), are required. The ability to function as LPHA (with credentials as a LCPC or LCSW), and previous experience working with the target populations, are highly recommended.
Candidates should be energetic and internally driven to assist the SPMI population succeed in obtaining their desired outcomes; therefore, a background of working with the seriously and persistently mentally ill population is vital to be successful.
Valid drivers license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required. Criminal background check and drug test will be completed prior to employment.
