Position Title: Admissions Team Member
Department: Admissions
Reports To: Admissions Team Lead
Status: Seasonal, Non-Exempt
Summary of Duties:
Provide long-lasting positive first and last impressions and ensure accurate and efficient property entry with consistent enforcement of admission requirements while providing Guest Excellence and maintaining safe practices.
Job Responsibilities:
• Exhibit professional demeanor and model behaviors at all times
• Deliver Guest Excellence being knowledgeable about the park, ticket & season pass pricing, current specials and upcoming events
• Encourage sales through Guest interaction and upsell opportunities to ensure Guests obtain the best deals and take advantage of all the park has to offer
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently following Standard Operating Procedures
• Process payments for purchases following Cash Handling Standard Operating Procedures
• Enforce admission requirements including but not limited to; Proper attire, outside food & beverage restrictions, enforcement of a smoke-free facility, etc.
• Control main gate entry and exit flow of both Guests and Team Members; Greet Guests entering the property and thank them for coming upon exiting
• Communicate via radios and telephones
• Protect company assets through proper use of tools and equipment and the adherence to the standard of overall cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Other duties as needed and/or assigned by Leadership.
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 15 years of age. If under 18 years of age, must be able to provide working papers prior to hire.
• Ability to understand US monetary systems in order to effectively cash handle according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must be able to initiate and maintain interactions with Guests.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations.
• Ability to work in high stress situations.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
