NAPSW - First Aid

Position Title: EMT - Paramedic
Department: Safety & Security
Reports To: Operations Manager
Status: Seasonal, Non-Exempt

Summary of Duties:
Ensure the safety of the Guests, Team Members, and property, while providing Guest Excellence and maintaining safe practices.

Job Responsibilities:
• Exhibit professional demeanor and model behaviors at all times
• Maintain constant attention and focus on Guests and surrounding areas of the property while making rounds
• Maintain presence in Main First Aid Station, initiating assistance from the Manager on Duty as needed for call relief
• Respond to medical calls throughout the property, to include the waterpark
• Provide medical evaluations and treatment of Guests and Team Members as needed, not to exceed basic first aid measures and internal Standard Operating Procedures
• Execute emergency procedures, to include crowd control, as necessary
• Provide support to outside EMS and Security as needed
• Ensure overall inventory levels are maintained for consumables, communicating to Operations Manager as items run low
• Complete required incident report documentation as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures
• Aid in the reuniting of Lost Parents
• Perform Bag Check responsibilities as the business requires
• Communicate via public address systems, radios and telephones
• Protect company assets through proper use of tools and equipment and the adherence to the standard of overall cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Other duties as needed and/or assigned by Leadership.

 
Job Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At a minimum, must have EMT-Basic certification
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to efficiently manage time and work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to work in an environment with high levels of noise and vibrations.
• Ability to work in high stress situations.
• Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.
